I signed up for Events and Adventures Chicago back in July. In August, my work schedule changed to nights and I have 4 group projects in my current semester at school.
I have received no response to 3 emails from Karine about a downgrade.
I understand I signed a contract, which is why Karine recommended a possible downgrade. Welp, I never heard back after that after following up multiple times. (August 22-September 26)
If you ask me, this company is a scam. I cannot help my work/school schedule and there seems to be no decent customer service on E&A's end.
I'm out thousands of dollars for nothing. The events I want to attend are either filled, or on days that I can't make it. I don't work an incredibly flexible job and I don't have the luxury of asking off as many days as I want. In addition, when I work events (which most of the events are during) I have no way of making them.
Overall, I'm just so disappointed in this company.
There are freezes with my account, which is fine, but after all of this, I don't even want to participate anymore. Your group outings (most of the time) are totally free events anyway and if I'm paying thousands of dollars for someone to schedule it, that is NOT what I was under the impression I was paying for.
I have to pay all this money and still spend more money on each event. That's just so crazy to me. I am at my wit's end and absolutely furious at this point.
You're taking money from people, advertising this flourishing company, and then not living up to what's discussed in the interview process. I was open to the downgrade early on, but that's not going to cut it at this point.
